It’s a little disappointing that the top Google results for pulled pork are mostly sandwiches, when in reality pulled pork is so much more than that!

With the right pork side dishes, you can turn a gathering into a barbecue or an elegant summer dinner.

But finding the best locations for your barbecue or family reunion can be a real challenge. When grilling, the side dishes are just as important as the meat.

 

And especially with pulled pork, the side dishes can range from sweet to savory, sweet to crunchy, light to heavy, and everything in between!

Side dishes can be used as a refreshing break after the heavy meat or can be used to wipe the sauce residue off the plate. The possibilities are almost endless!

And that’s why I’m here today. I’ve compiled a list of the most delicious breads, salads and vegetables that will really enhance your pork experience. So, without further ado, let’s go!

 

1. Corn bread

Cornbread is a classic partner for pork. You can never go wrong with the combination of these two classics.

The best part is that it’s not too hard to make and you can have a lot of fun experimenting with different flavors!
